In this episode, our conversation is with Pastor Derek Smith. 
Derek, along with his wife Georgina, is the Senior Leader of Kings Church Bolton. He is also part of the National Leadership Team of the Assemblies of God GB.He recently took on the role of Church Health lead in 2023 for AOG GB and this was the main focus of our conversation with him.
What makes for a healthy church? It was a fascinating conversation and Derek was his usual down-to-earth self with his answers.

This church, which became known as City Church in Newcastle, flourished in both size and influence during his 33-year leadership. Today, Ian serves as the Dean of Free Church Formation at Cranmer Hall in Durham.
